兵工廠的西班牙中場法布雷加斯昨日批評比亞雷亞爾的烏拉圭中場艾古倫在比賽中用言語侮辱他的家人，艾古倫的隊友戈汀出言反擊，他叫法布雷加斯閉嘴，因為這種事在球場上經常發生，根本不算什麼，但作為球員不應該談論它。

“Things like these happen in football and they will always happen, but a player must not talk about it,”

打過球的人都知道，球場上的碎碎念是經常都會發生的，有時候衝口而出問候別人老母，也可能只是情緒上的發洩。戈汀有感而發的說：「球場事、球場了，懂不懂小老弟？」

“I do not like it when someone goes out and discloses what happened on the field of play. Anyone who has ever played football will know the one code of the game, and that is whatever happens on the pitch, stays on the pitch.”

他最後也為自己被罰了一個十二碼喊冤：「我不用看重播都知道，那根本不是十二碼。」

是不是大仙不知道，從慢鏡頭看來似有踢到也像沒有。苦主喊冤也有其道理，戈汀的解釋是：「十二碼根本是無意義的，因為比賽結果早已不受我們掌控，十二碼的唯一作用，就是在棺材上釘釘子。」

「棺材上釘釘子」，意思就是加速他們的死亡，和英文諺語「壓死駱駝的最後一根稻草」（the last straw that breaks the camel's back）有異曲同工之妙。
